Empowering Women, Transforming Communities
In the Democratic Republic of Congo, many women face overwhelming struggles to provide for their children, often having lost their husbands or raising families alone. Without access to skills or resources, the cycle of poverty can feel unbreakable.
At Charity for All and Development for Africa (CADA), we believe these women deserve more than survival, they deserve the chance to thrive. Our mission is to restore hope, dignity, and economic independence.
Our projects
“When you empower a woman, you empower a family. When you empower families, you transform communities.”
How Our Program Works
The Sewing Training Program empowers widows and single mothers with the skills they need to build a better future. Through hands-on training, participants learn tailoring, embroidery, and design. The program also includes business and entrepreneurship lessons, mentorship, and access to essential sewing equipment.
By completing the program, women can:
- Gain practical skills to create clothing and textiles.
- Start small businesses or work in cooperatives.
- Earn a stable income to support their families.
- Become leaders and role models in their communities.
Our Impact
- Dozens of women are trained every year.
- Mothers can now afford to pay for their children’s school fees, healthcare, and food.
- Communities are strengthened as women become key contributors to local development.
“Every stitch sewn is a step toward independence, dignity, and a brighter future for families.”
